While using the company’s services, you may be asked to provide certain personally identifiable information that can be used to be contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to: email address, first and last name, phone number, student records, usage data.
The company collects information about visitors to the site to provide an experience that is responsive to users' and customers' needs.
The company will not sell, share, trade or otherwise use any information you provide unless you expressly provide in writing permission for such use.
The company will retain your personal data for one year from the date of receipt of the first document for each engagement of service. For example, if the evaluation is received May 1st, and the IEP is received May 8th, documents will be deleted on May 1st the following year. Files may also be deleted earlier upon request. Make sure you keep a copy of needed files because there will be no way for the company to retrieve them once deleted.
Special Ed Consulting does not share records received by you, even to your school district. If you need something shared, files can be emailed back to you.
The site has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of the information under company control. If the site allows you to enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) on order firms, the company encrypts the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). The company may also at times provide information about you to third parties to provide various services on our behalf, such as providers who process credit card payments. The company will only share information about you that is necessary for the third party to provide the requested service. These companies are prohibited from retaining, sharing, buying, selling, storing or using your personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
The company follows generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to the company, both during transmission and once received. The security of your personal data is important but remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While Special Ed Consulting strives to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, the company cannot guarantee its absolute security.
